1-spinmar Inc Has Recalled Sdadc925f202 (hin Or Cin) Due To Electrical System And Fuel System And This Boat Recall Is Closed. It Applied To 2 Boats From The 2002 Day Cruiser Model Boats. The Boat Recalls Applied On 3/10/2003 And Was Closed On 11/4/2004 With The Following Comment: The Positive Terminal Of The Two Starting Batteries Did Not Have Overcurrent Protection Or A Boot Or Cover. The Fuel Tanks Mounted Along The Gunwale Above The Engine Fuel Inlet Connection Did Not Have Anti-siphon Protection. The Fuel Hose On Both Fuel Tanks Dip Below The Tops Of The Tanks.the Two Fuel Tanks Had Bottom Drain Fittings.the Fuel Hoses From The Fuel Tanks To The Engine Inlet Were Aeorquip-8 Hose Meeting Sae J-2556. The Builder Did Not Have Documentation To Show That This Hose Meets The Requirements For Uscg Type A1 Hose.each Fuel Hose Must Be Secured By A Swaged Sleeve, A Sleeve And Threaded Insert, Or A Hose Clamp.there Was No Certification Label Affixed.the Fuel System Was Not Pressure Tested.the Vent System Did Not Have A Flame Arrester. Each Exhaust Opening Or Exhaust Duct Must Originate In The Lower Third Of The Compartment Requiring Natural Ventilation.the All-round Light Was Less Than 1 Meter Higher Than The Sidelights.each Ungrounded Output Conductor From A Storage Battery Must Have A Manually Reset, Trip-free Circuit Breaker Or Fuse Within 72 Inches Of The Battery Measured Along The Conductor.each Metallic Fuel Line And Fuel System Component Within 12 Inches And Above The Horizontal Plane Of The Battery Top Surface As Installed Must Be Shielded With Dielectric Material.
