The Boat Recalls Applied On 1/29/2018 And Was Closed On With The Following Comment: 1) The Engine Compartment Natural Exhaust Ventilation Opening Was Of Insufficient Size For The Compartment Net Volume. The Gasoline Engine Compartment Has A Net Compartment Volume Of Approximately 94 Cubic Feet, Which Requires A Minimum Aggregate Of 14.7 Square Inches For The Cross-sectional Area Of The Natural Supply And 14.7 Square Inches For The Cross-sectional Area Of The Natural Exhaust Ventilation. The Natural Ventilation Supply Openings Were Of Adequate Size. The One 3-inch Natural Ventilation Exhaust Opening Only Had A 7.1 Square Inch Area Which Was Further Reduced By A Slotted Cover To An Estimated Open Area Of 4.5 Square Inches. (2)the Gasoline Powered Boat Subject To The Fuel, Electrical, Ventilation And Navigation Light Certification Regulations Of Part 183 Did Not Have A Certification Label. (3)the Sidelights Mounted In The Flare Of The Bow Were Not Aligned With The Centerline Of The Boat. The Sidelight Sectors Would Not Show Forward Of The Boat And Would Show Beyond The Limit Of 22.5 Degrees Abaft The Beam.
