The Gasoline Engine Compartment Has A Net Compartment Volume Of Approximately 94 Cubic Feet, Which Requires A Minimum Aggregate Of 14.7 Square Inches For The Cross-sectional Area Of The Natural Supply And 14.7 Square Inches For The Cross-sectional Area Of The Natural Exhaust Ventilation. The Natural Ventilation Supply Openings Were Of Adequate Size. The One 3-inch Natural Ventilation Exhaust Opening Only Had A 7.1 Square Inch Area Which Was Further Reduced By A Slotted Cover To An Estimated Open Area Of 4.5 Square Inches.
