How much does it cost and What is included in the validation service?
The cost for this bulk HIN validation service is $700 USD. It includes analysis of the Hull ID, Manufacturer code, duplicates, and Year validation. We also check for length issues and wrong identifiers such as IMO and ENI being used as HINs.

What is Required?
You are only required to provide two fields (Hull ID and Year). You will receive an executive summary report and a detailed MS Excel file with all the reasons why each Hull ID is invalid.
Which States Have been analyzed so far?
As of November 2019 we have analyzed hull numbers internally (data not yet published) from Hawaii, Illinois, New york, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia. We have found that 3.7 Percent of hull numbers to be invalid or malformed in state databases.
